BACKFLOW TESTING


 Backflow testing occurs when water contaminated with dirt, chemicals or other foreign substances flows from a cross connection back into the piping of a public water system or consumer’s potable water system. Cross connections that can cause backflow include irrigation systems, hoses attached to lawn chemical sprayers, and hoses submerged in swimming pools to name a few.
